The gardens and grounds at the Inn are a haven for those who love the sights, smells and sounds of the outdoors.  The formal gardens are a great place to sit in peace surrounded by the aromas and colors of seasonal flowers and local birds.  For the more adventurous spirit, there are numerous trails that offer a chance to watch wildlife and birds throughout the highland, woods and pasture along the stream.  Local fishermen know the stream to be an excellent spot for trout, and couples and families alike have found many perfect picnic sites along its banks.
